The F-bomb

I watched “Glengarry Glen Ross” this morning.  It had been hibernating on the DVR for quite some time, and today felt that it was the right morning.  If you’ve ever had any kind of sales job, you’ll feel some affinity for this movie. It still feels like a play-it’s not about the action but all about the dialogue.  Possibly because it was adapted by David Mamet, the playwright.  What an amazing depiction of a hard-sell real estate office and the men who work there.  You can almost smell the stench of defeat.  There were surprises, and pathos, and many questions left unanswered.  Oh, also I don’t know if I’ve ever heard so many expletives in 100 minutes in my life before.  Even when I’ve spent time with teenagers.  Great movie.  Why did it take me 15 years to actually see it?
